The roles that God has established are precious

I have heard many arguments over if woman can be pastors. There are many reasons scripturally I believe they cannot. Just as there are reasons some men aren’t qualified to be pastors.

God is a God of order and in this he has ordered his creation. All equal in his eyes yet we have very different roles to play as we should. Man is to be the spiritual leader in the house and God makes that very clear time and time again. Why then would woman be qualified to be leaders over men?

Marriage is a view of our relationship with God. The bride groom language and imagery is used quite often throughout the Bible. I believe this passage is just another view as to how the church is supposed to function. Though I believe many times woman are told their roles are much smaller than that of which God has said they are.

I also believe that woman are overreaching in this area and in reality going beyond scripture effectively userping a rule that is not theirs in Gods eyes. God does not call woman to be pastors though he does call them to be teachers and protectors of their children. Teachers of other woman. Help mates. We are to build up the next generation in fear and love of God.

Unfortunately with the rise of feminism we have also had a rise of rejecting the order God has given us. Men hand their spiritual leadership role over to the woman and woman gladly lord it over them. The boundaries we are to live by are brushed under the rug. Argued as not for this day and age. Said to be outdated.

Woman are woman and ought to conduct themselves accordingly. Men are men and ought to fill their role. And children are precious and ought to be seen as a blessing. They are to be nurtured, discipled and raised up by the parents that they were given to not by the government or others.

By Take me to Eternity

I am a God fearing mother of two. A wife to a wonderful husband. A crafter of junk. A baker. And anything the LORD puts in my path.
