This post is late because well life… A friend of mine (Being Bereans )informed me a week or so ago, that There was a new Top song on the Christian Music Chart.
It was done by none other than DJ Khaled who has described himself as a devout Muslim. His foul language and drug references are a huge part of his music including his song entitled “God did.”
The song that made the charts was a remake of A song from Kanye Wests “gospel” album called “Use this Gospel.”
Kanye West was featured on this album who despite calling himself a Christian has shown time and time again that it was in title only. He recently said “I am a proud member of The Satanic Temple.”
Not sure how any are surprised by that with just a short amount of listening to his music it surely isn’t Christlike.
This is after his time of calling himself a Christian though for far longer he has called himself a follower of Satan.
Eminem is known for his cussing, and references to horrible acts done to his ex wife, along with explicit drug references.
What says Christian music like a Muslim, a Satanist and someone who spews vicious content on every album he makes.
I was flabbergasted but not entirely surprised the way that Christians compromise these days when it comes to… well.. everything. Music being a huge one.
The Christian post said “The rapper Eminem has made his debut on the Billboard Hot Christian Songs chart due to his latest feature verse on a popular gospel rap song featured on DJ Khaled’s newest album.”
For those of you who don’t know His album is titled “God did” after one of the songs on it. In the song he says,
“All this pain from the outside, inspired all this growth within
So new planes gettin’ broken in
Highest elevation of the self
They done around and gave the right wealth
These ain’t songs, these is hymns ’cause I’m him
It’s the Psalm 151, this New Testament
The book of Hov (The book of Hov)
Jesus turned water to wine, for Hov, it just took a stove”
If that isn’t bad enough he has another song on it called “Use This Gospel” which features Kanye West and Eminem.
Just in case you were wondering if it was actually God honoring you can read the lyrics here.

[Kanye West:]
Uh-uh-uh, uh-uh-uh
Uh-uh-uh, uh-uh, uh
Uh-uh-uh, uh-uh-uh
Uh-uh-uh, uh-uh, uh
Use this gospel for protection
It’s a hard road to Heaven
We call on Your blessings
In the Father, we put our faith
King of the Kingdom
Our demons are tremblin’
Holy angels defendin’
In the Father, we put our faith
[Eminem:]
I’m holding on (Yeah) but I don’t know if I can take it much longer
Today’s the day that I put all of my trust and faith in You, Father
Please let this hate make me stronger
‘Fore they turn on me like a zombie
It’s like I’m being strangled unconscious (Yeah)
When temptation is almost like Satan is making you tryna
Take you away from your daughters
Danglin’ a bunch of painkillers on ya
Wavin’ ’em in your face and then watch ’em comin’ extra strength
And that’s why they make ’em in rectangular objects
‘Cause that’s the shape of a coffin
Though, it ain’t medication this time
But the devil’s egging me on
And I ain’t gonna let ’em break me ’cause I’m a soldier
You can bank on that promise like the Chamber of Commerce
So my savior, I call on
To rescue me from these depths of despair
So these demons better step like a stair
Because He is my shepherd
I’m armed with Jesus, my weapon is prayer
Soon as I squeeze it, I’m blessed like sneezes
Call me Yeezus, I’m F’d in the head, maybe I’m bonkers
Regardless, never claimed to be flawless
Long as the mistakes I’ve acknowledged
Y’all wish I would say something positive
Well, okay, then I’m positive
They’d rather trade weather with Mayweather
‘Cause they would fare way better with them odds
Than they would exchanging some bars
Or trading any bars with Shady and probably is painfully obvious
To compare Godliness to an atheist
But I got them audiences raving (Woo) in amidst my squabbles
I got some awesome inspiration to drop ’em, off ’em
Pen and paper, I’m knockin’ ’em off
Woke up on stage at a concert
Whole place looking like a mosh pit
Bible at my side like a rifle with a God-given gift
Every single day I thank God for
That’s why I pay so much homage
Praises to Jesus, I’ll always
[Kanye West:]
Use this gospel for protection
It’s a hard road to Heaven
We call on Your blessings
In the Father, we put our faith
King of the Kingdom
Our demons are tremblin’
Holy angels defendin’
In the Father, we put our faith
[Outro:]
Uh-uh-uh, uh-uh-uh
Uh-uh-uh, uh-uh, uh
Uh-uh-uh, uh-uh-uh
Uh-uh-uh, uh-uh, uh
Blessings from the altar got me feeling like I’m walking on water

That is simply appalling. Once again some things that sound almost right in there with a whole lot of “what in the world was that.” Not sure how it shot to the top of the Christian music charts. Except for the complete lack of discernment these days.
In case anyone was wondering, Kanye who changed his name to Ye explained his use of Yeezus, he said it was a combination of Jesus and Yeezy. He said and I quote,
“I wanna explain something about the title Yeezus. Simply put, West was my slave name, and Yeezus is my god name.
That explains everything doesn’t it? Especially coming from a self professing satanist. It’s his god name…
Generally when Eminem reaches the top of the mainstream charts it is with his violent/irreverent rap lyrics not a song about God.
@Being Bereans made a comment that was laughable, sad and so true. She said their song was at least more theologically correct than Hillsong, Bethel, Elevation worship and the like.
This isn’t just another dig at those groups. It’s a spotlight on what happens when we don’t care where our music comes from anymore.
It’s hard to believe that professing Christian’s have sunk so low as to make THIS reach the top Christian music charts.
What are we doing as Christians when we have compromised so much that there are no more standards for Christianity. No more self control, no reverence for God’s word and what’s more an absolute slap in the face to what is good and pure and right and true? Scripture tells us to test every spirit and to mark and avoid those who aren’t of God. Well these people aren’t even masquerading as God’s people and they are still getting lumped into that category.
People wonder why I harp on Christian values and lack of standards these days but with every small compromise it gets easier to make a bigger compromise.
A little leaven leavens the whole lump though I think people forgot that.
Just like everything else these days words are losing their meaning. To Be a Christian means whatever you want it to at that moment. Satanic Christian’s… Christian witches….
When Chrislam is officially the universal religion. When no one can define what a woman is, or what is right, or wrong. It’s all your truth and my truth. There is no absolute truth they say. There are no more lines or boundaries and to say there are makes you a bigot, racist, sexist, some kind of phobic.
As Christian’s we know absolute truth. Jesus is Truth. We are to know truth, to guard truth and to stand up for truth. That is to stand up for what God says is right or wrong, good, bad, sin, acceptable.
We need puritans. We need people who will stand up for what God says and not allow this kind of junk to be accepted as Christian.
This shows the depravity of Christendom. The lack of biblical literacy and fear of the Lord. We cannot contribute to the moral problem of this generation by turning a blind eye to the evil being called godly.
I pray y’all go check it out yourself. I pray you are filled with a righteous indignation. That you see what is going on around you and you don’t accept it. That you fight the good fight. For God, for truth.
What happens when Christian’s stop standing up for what is right? The evil takes over….
