Fellowship is important.

We are meant to fellowship. We are meant to be around others. That is how we grow and learn and are shaped. We are meant to be servants and care for and love other people.

I really believe that it helps to get us ready for eternity. It sanctifies us and teaches us in ways that are not possible without relationships.

We need to be vulnerable with others. To learn from and be encouraged by them. To be rebuked by them and pulled back onto the road that God has for us.

Life is meant to be lived with others we are supposed to worship God with others and be light and salt to others. Our focus is supposed to be on God and helping and loving others.

when we isolate we focus on self. We focus on problems and fixate on things that are unhealthy. People are messy and that is a huge part of why it is so rewarding to actually live well with others. That’s how we can learn forgiveness and how to humble ourselves.

If you don’t have a church building to go to find one. Find a good solid Bible based church and do life with a church family. There is nothing like it. You won’t always get along. There will be ups and downs but that is life with people. We are messy. We are complicated. We are humans working out our salvation and sanctification. All in different places in our walk and in life. But we can build each other up. Encourage each other and lean on one another. Be bold. Live with others.

By Take me to Eternity

I am a God fearing mother of two. A wife to a wonderful husband. A crafter of junk. A baker. And anything the LORD puts in my path.
