Hello there friends. LeaFiore here once again. Sorry I have been absent for awhile but well life happened. Today I want to talk about something that is on my heart.
One of the most important questions I think Jesus asked when he walked the earth was who do you say I am. It is something that if answered wrongly means you cannot have salvation. Is he a prophet only? Was he just a man? Is he God preexisting and eternal? Is he Satan’s brother? These are all things that is claimed but what is true? The Bible can tell you. No other book.
We are told that unless you believe the gospel according to scripture you are lost.
We cant simply say we believe in Jesus and never pursue finding out who he is. To say you cant be saved if you don’t fully understand everything would be wrong but there is a hunger to know the one you agree is your boss, Your Lord, your redeemer and savior. I am not quite sure how people say i am a Christian yet don’t even care to know what that actually means.
It says narrow is the gate and few will find it so why would we think that everyone claiming to be Christians actually were? Who will be the ones who Jesus says go away from me I never knew you? These are the ones who use his name in vain. Who claim Christianity and follow the world and not Jesus. Who believe that they can live however they want because in Jesus we are free. We are absolutely free but not to live like we are followers of the world. We are free but not to disregard what we know to be true. We cannot claim Jesus and say that he is a liar in what he calls sin. Or shrug off the things he says because we would rather do what’s easy or feels good. There are going to be so many people who go to judgement and get told I never knew you.
That doesn’t mean Jesus who is God and knows all didnt know who you are. It means you didn’t have an intimate relationship with him. That requires you to seek him with your whole heart and in doing that it requires you to seek him in his word. You want to hear him speak and know him read the bible. No other book can give you the knowledge and it isn’t just transmuted though vibrations. He gave us the bible for a reason. Go pick it up. Search it. Find him in it. Follow him and follow what he says. You want to know you are saved. You want that security in yourself. Get deep with God. Dig into his word and search it. Know it. Bury it in your heart and treasure it.
I love you my friends and I pray that you know Jesus. That you seek him with your whole hearts and that you yearn to know who he is.
